Let's talk about Whatsapp messaging! whatever you do now in Indonesia, you will be in some Whatsapp group that your company made. It can be a formal staff group until selling center group which is made by an employee to gossip, complaint, till selling their homemade product. BELIEVE me, it happens everywhere!
So, how to understand the local language? especially in Whatsapp messaging? here the word list you might find and the meaning of them.
- gaes = guys
- kek= kayak = it's like
- Apaan = what do you mean?
- G = ngga= nggak= ga= no
- ngarep = wish
- monggo = silakan = please
- Tuh = itu = that
- Ok fixed!= Ok it's decided
- lgi = lg = lagi = is doing something = want it more
- dmn= dimana= where
- dr = dari= from
- 2 exp: masing2 --> number two stands for repeating the word. In Bahasa, we repeat some words to tell about plural or it's just in nature the word born like that for example kura2=kura-kura= a turtle.
